During this journey, you will travel from the historic city of Fes through the Atlas Mountains, explore stunning valleys, and experience the magic of the Sahara Desert in Merzouga.
Discover the Middle Atlas Mountains
First, the journey takes you through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will stop in Ifrane, often called the “African Switzerland.” Afterward, you will visit the cedar forests near Azrou Cedar Forest, where you can see wild Barbary monkeys in their natural habitat.
Experience the Sahara Desert in Merzouga
Next, you will arrive in Merzouga, located at the edge of the spectacular Erg Chebbi. Here, you will enjoy a memorable camel ride across the golden dunes and spend the night in a traditional desert camp under the stars.
Explore Todra Gorge and Dades Valley
The following day, the tour continues to the impressive Todra Gorge, where visitors can walk between dramatic canyon walls. Then, you will drive through the scenic Dades Valley and the famous Valley of Roses.
Visit Kasbahs and Cross the Atlas Mountains
After that, the journey continues to Ouarzazate, where you can visit Kasbah Taourirt and Atlas Studios. You will also explore the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Finally, the tour crosses the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech.

Itinerary
1
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Merzouga
Pick up from your hotel in Fes at 08:00 am and depart for the south of Morocco. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco to enjoy it is beauty and to have memorable photos. After that you will head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi n Tlghamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later on, you will have a stop for a amazing panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are also called Merzouga Dunes. Arrive to the camel point and get ready for a camel trek for an hour and half to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a traditional nomad tent. Dinner with firecamp party at the desert camp in the middle of the sand dunes.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge
After breakfast and shower to dust off, we will drive from Merzouga to Rissani, Erfoud and Tinghir, where we will stop for lunch and a short walk in Todra gorges and its magnificent palmeraie and old ruins blinding perfectly with the scenery. In the afternoon, we will continue to Boumalne dades and take the the tour to the north through the curvy road of the Dades gorges, stop for a couple pictures at the monkey finger, a rock formation that looks like fingers (probably formed from lava thousands of years ago), then continue to see the infamous gorges at the top portrayed in many travel flyers as one of the most beautiful pieces of roads before heading back to our hotel at the foothills of the gorges, where we will enjoy a nice dinner and occasionally a musical play with the staff and other clients before going to bed.

Day 3: Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
This morning after breakfast in the hotel, We depart to Ouarzazate via Skoura . Stopping for a panoramic view of the kasbah Taourirt then another photo stop near the atlas film studios. After that you will visit the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant in the village. In the Afternoon we will drive to Marrakech over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Drop off in Marrakech.
