9 Days Desert & Imperial tour from Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

We will meet you at the port or at your hotel and travel to the beautiful blue city called Chefchaouen Blue Jewelry. All buildings and alleys are painted in blue and white and are one of the most beautiful cities in the countryside. We will have lunch and you will have free time to explore it. We spend the night at the hotel.

Day 2: Full day in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast at your hotel, we will begin our trip to the Volubilis crossing of the Ouazan crossing and other rural villages, in Volubilis we will stop to discover the Roman ruins and identify the archaeological site of Moroccan history. After visiting the monuments, we will turn towards the city of Meknes, from the 17th century, where we will stop for lunch and stroll through the enormous historical walls of the city, Bab al-Mansour. Spend the night in Riad for dinner and accommodation.

Day 4: Explore Fes

After breakfast, you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking through alleys and small streets. Our visit begins with the visit of the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter, the first quarter built in Morocco, built during the fourteenth century. We will assure you that you visit all the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qarawiyyin University, which is considered the oldest in the world, Dabbagh and Moulay Idriss.

After lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant, visit the cooperative and the tiles and then enjoy the panoramic view of the entire city of Fez. We will spend the night in Riad.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

After breakfast, you will travel through the Mediterranean Atlas through Ifrane and Azrou. You will stop at the Cedar Forest to visit the Cedre Gouraud tree, where you will see barbarian monkeys in their nature. From here, we will go south through many cities and have the opportunity to see nomadic people living in tents along the way. You will also see volcanic rocks. Our next stop in Midelt where you will enjoy lunch. After that, continue our journey through the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907) while enjoying the panoramic views. Ziz Gorge and the tunnel will also pass. Near Erachidia city, you will see the tower of Hassan al-Dakhil, which contains dark blue water. Continue our march to Erfoud and stop to get a panoramic view of the palm trees of Ofos along the Ziz River. Continue your trip to Merzouga through Erfoud through the oasis of Tafilalet, the largest palm grove in Morocco. Access Merzouga in the afternoon and register at your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Full Day in Merzouga

After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin an exploratory trip in the region, visit the Bedouins in the goat carp of the goat and become familiar with life in the desert, and then visit the people of Gnaoua, originally slaves who came from Sudan, and will have the opportunity to listen to their music and knowledge of their culture and way of life. You will enjoy the beauty of the Sahara and the sunset in the golden sand dunes. After sunset, you will enjoy your dinner and a concert will be held next to the fire in front of the camp where you will spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer. Our camp is equipped with warmer baths.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Gorges of Todra – Gorges of Dades

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on top of the desert dunes and then have breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel or travel by 4×4 to the hotel. It is up to you, We leave for Tinghir through Erfoud city and Tinjdad. Have a break for lunch In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra Gorges through Tinghir. Day 8: Gorges Of Dades – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, we will walk through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Megouna, the city of roses and Ouarzazate offers many opportunities to take pictures. We will visit the Valley of the Roses and the village of Skoura, and then we will continue to Ouarzazate called”Hollywood of Africa” . After visiting Atlas Studio we gonna have a Lunch at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. After a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, our journey through the majestic Tizi Ntishka Pass, up to 2260 meters, will continue over the high Atlas Mountains. We will stop to enjoy the panoramic views and visit the Argan Oil Cooperative. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.

Day 9: Free day Marrakech

After breakfast, start discovering the red city of Morocco “Marrakech”. With the most visited and fascinating sites of cultural and historical importance, you will see the Saadian tombs, the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower and the Bahia Palace. Next to the famous Marrakech Square, you can taste tasty traditional lunches and walks in the local markets to see hundreds of handicrafts. In the afternoon, take your full time to walk around the city only through its other parts. Stay overnight in the Riad.
