Excursion from Marrakech to Imlil

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil

We leave from your Riad or the hotel after breakfast on a day trip to visit the nearby Marke desert area. We will head towards Lake Takerkoust, a man-made lake, on the edge of the Agafay desert built under French protection between 1929 and 1935 to supply Marrakech and surrounding cities with electricity as well as to irrigate the fields
in the Haouz plain.

You will enjoy lunch amid the green mountains by doing the trees and plants at the Takerkoust Lake, also referred to as Lalla Takerkoust, being careful to make sure that the lake will blend in with the beautiful surroundings and promote the area. Visitors will agree that this goal has been achieved and that the majestic Atlas Mountains are reflected in the calm waters of the lake and then we will return to the Riad or the hotel in Marrakech.
